The Colorado Horse Park Lunch & Learn Series provides an opportunity for exhibitors and spectators to learn about a variety of equestrian topics from industry experts while eating a delicious lunch. Each presentation is followed by a question and answer session.
Thursday, July 7th will be our second Lunch & Learn of the 2016 Summer in the Rockies series. This week’s topic will be “Recent advances in the only FDA approved intramuscular bisphosphonate, OSPHOS® (clodronate injection) in the Equine Athlete” by speaker Dr. Joe Manning of Dechra Veterinary Products. Dr. Manning will discuss the disease mechanism behind navicular syndrome and the role bisphosphonates like OSPHOS take in helping to prevent clinical signs associated with it. He will also discuss the way bisphosphonates work to help you understand their role in the bone building and breakdown process. He will also discuss some of the fundamentals uses of OSPHOS, potential side effects and successes with the product.

The event is held at the Central Park Pavilion. Lunch will be provided and is free to the first 75 attendees.
